Shipping & returns

Packaging
Of course you expect your chocolates to arrive in perfect condition. Therefore we prepare all packages with the utmost care. All chocolates will be shipped in strong boxes with shock-absorbing wraps. Note: durting periods with high temperatures, we reserve the right to postpone the shipment until a more favorable time.

Delivery 
The delivery of your chocolates is carried out by PostNL or bpost

Once we have received your order and payment, your products will be prepared for shipment in 1 to 5 working days. You will always be informed as soon as your parcel has been shipped.

In the rare case a product is ordered and is found later to be out of stock we will notify you as soon as possible and provide you with the opportunity to get your money back, choose an alternative product or pick a new shipping date.

Shipping costs 
For Belgium the shipping costs of bpost apply:
upto 2 kg: 6,50 EUR
2 - 10 kg: 8,80 EUR
10 - 30 kg: 14,90 EUR

For The Netherlands the shipping costs of PostNL apply:
upto 10 kg: 6,95 EUR
10 - 30 kg: 13,25 EUR

Also parcels to other foreign destinations will be carried out with bpost or PostNL. Shipping costs can be calculated using the tool in the shopping cart of our online shop.

Boutique pickup
It is also possible to pick up your goods in our store in Antwerp. This way you pay no shipping costs and you can also browse through our shop and experience the aroma of real chocolate.
 When placing the order please specify that you want to pick up the order. You will receive an email as soon as your order is ready to be collected. The products being perishable, SJOKOLAT will not conserve an order that the customer has not picked up. All orders that have not been picked up will not be reimbursed nor replaced.

Returns
The 14-day retraction period does not extend to contracts for the provision of perishable food products such as those sold via the website. The client is therefore not entitled to claim this right.

However, wherever possible, alterations or cancellations requested by the client may be allowed, provided the package is being prepared and has not yet been handed over to the carrier. This concession will be granted on a case by case basis. If cancellation takes place, the client will be refunded the amount paid for his or her order.

If however the package has been sent by post, no alterations or cancellations will be allowed, and the amount paid will be retained.
